Addendum to all I wanted to do
I woke up this morning thinking about how the Lord lead me to a job with Varityper and here is the rest of the story:
When I worked for the hospital my supervisor was Ben Heard. He was a man in probably his 30s and he and I worked really well together. The hospital administrator was an older man, Mr. Techader, and he didn’t like me at all. I wasn’t serious enough for him. Part of my job was to deliver and pick up the mail from the deferent departments and nursing stations and I was kind of happy go lucky, telling dad jokes and friendly with everybody. He told me many times that I should be more serious about my work. I was a hard worker and many times worked extra days when one of the part timers couldn’t or wouldn’t work. BUT, there were times in the afternoon when there was nothing to do. So a friend would occasionally stop in on his break and I would wad up a piece of paper and we would have a Ball game. The admitting desk was right above us with an opening with a basket so they could send patients information down to me to make the metal charge plates. I would type them and put them back in the basket and admitting would pull it back up. I guess they could hear us and eventually complained to someone. No one ever said anything to us but one day we came into work and they had put a window in our door.
A couple of months later we went to Michigan and I got the job with Varityper. We went back to Denver and on Monday I went back to work and there was an older man working in my place. I thought, “ they have replaced me”. I turned around and went to Mr. Heard told him that I had gotten a job in Michigan and I needed to give him my 2 weeks notice. I wanted to save him from having to let me go and save myself from being fired. He said they have already replaced you and I think I’m next. I’m going to give you a weeks pay and you can go home and get ready to move and I think we are both better off.
I thought, if someone was unhappy with my work why didn’t they say something?
Another reason for the blessing the Friday before is because Heavenly Father knew what I was coming back to. I am so glad He was looking out for me again.
Sometimes you only see the miracles when you look back.
Wow, that would have been a terrible situation if you hadn’t been blessed like that! God is so good to us
