Angels
“From the beginning down through the dispensations, God has used angels as His emissaries in conveying love and concern for His children.
“Usually such beings are not seen. Sometimes they are. But seen or unseen they are always near. Sometimes their assignments are very grand and have significance for the whole world. Sometimes the messages are more private. Occasionally the angelic purpose is to warn. But most often it is to comfort, to provide some form of merciful attention, guidance in difficult times.
When I was young, 11 years old, my mother was diagnosed with cancer. It had progressed to the point that the doctors could nothing to help her. She spent the last month and half of her life in a hospital bed in our living room and passed away a week before Christmas. Because of something called jaundice her feet itched so bad she would ask me to rub her feet. On the night she passed I went up stairs to bed and in the early morning hours I woke up and sat up in bed to find mom setting in the rocking chair at the foot of my bed. I thought how did she get up the stairs, she couldn’t get out of bed? She put her finger to her lips and said, “Richard I don’t want you to worry about me, every thing is fine, lay down and go back to sleep. Later my sister Jean came to my room to hold me and tell me mom had passed away.
I did not tell her or anybody about my experience because they wouldn’t have believed me. Besides it was personal for me.
My dad came to me in a dream a couple of years ago. I was in the mud room at the house where I grew up and gave a personal message, i so wanted him to set with me so we could talk for a while but he said he couldn’t stay.
Not all angels come from the other side of the vail. They walk and talk with us every day. Some teach us how to drive, how to cook. Some give birth to us, some become our sons and daughters and our grandchildren, in my case one consented to marry me. When we recognize those people “ANGELIC” is the only word that comes to mind.
This is beautiful. I believe in angels with all my heart, I loved reading your experiences with them! You most definitely married one (:
