I am not a speck

When I think of all the billions and billions of people who have been and will be on this earth, I think of little me a speck hidden behind the crowd. Not good enough to stand out to be seen by Heavenly Father or the Savior. But I know better because they see all of us, and know each of us. They see our faults and weaknesses and love us anyway. What helps me, to remind me of my worth is the song, “ I Stand All Amazed At The Love Jesus Offers Me”. That brings home to me the love and suffering that he went through for me. For me, a sinner He suffered and bled and died. All I can do is try to be like Him and love like Him and try to be the best me I can for Him.

  4. I love that you shared this because I shared this same testimony on July 6 at church. Your thoughts completely validate what I shared and solidify the truth of them. Here's what happened: G lost a "spek" (it's a little metal toy the size of a chia seed) that when you have all of them make a really cool metal cube that is magnetized together. Without all the speks, even missing one, the toy is just not as cool. He was really bummed but he told me that we should pray to find it because he had been looking for hours. After a heartfelt prayer, not 10 minutes later we found it after I had the idea to look on a metal kitchen chair. There it was stuck! It IS such a tiny thing, literally called a "spek" but the Lord helped us find it. I just felt right then and there to testify to my ward that "you are not a speck to the Lord". He knows everything about us and loves us unconditionally!
